This week, the children continued using the Giant's Necklace book as the stimulus for writing a narrative. We read more of the story and looked deeper into some of the features of the book such as description and the use of dialogue to move the narrative on. The children wrote descriptive paragraphs to describe the parts of the narrative.
In history, the children researched inspirational black Britons and found some facts and information about them. They then shared them with the class.
