Roman Myths
Class 2 have written a Roman myth, with each having a particular focus. The children had to create their narrative, aiming to include a range of features- expanded noun phrases for description, dialogue to advance the action, and fronted adverbials to show where, when or how the action is happening.
Ask your child which one of the 3 purposes for Roman myth writing they chose.
Sharing our work- writing for an audience.
Class 2 and Class 1 joined together to share the Roman myths that Class 2 had written. The children were excited to share their hard work and loved that their work had an audience. Class 1 gave the children some verbal feedback to say what they enjoyed about the stories.
