World Book Day 2022
A wonderful effort from all our classes to celebrate a love of reading on World Book Day.
Reception loved their World Book Day workshop this morning. What a wonderful way to bring 'The Gingerbread Man' to life through dance.
To celebrate world book day today Class 1 enjoyed a bringing books to life through dance workshop. It was great to have some children from home joining us too.
Class 2 were very lucky to participate in a dance workshop with Natalie from 'West End In Schools', who taught us how to express and retell stories through dance. She recapped the story for us and then showed us a dance routine which captured the themes and events of the story, using our bodies to create animals and jungle life and our faces to show emotions and expression.
It was great! Children working at home were also able to participate via video call and it was a really fun way to be active and also share our enjoyment of reading.
