Week 10
This week, the children finished writing their retelling of the Giant's Necklace book. They broke the book into four parts and wrote each part separately.
In Geography, the children started a companion project 'Our Changing World'. They started off looking at the features of Earth such as lines of longitude, latitude, the equator and the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn.
They used the lines of longitude and latitude to locate various cities and countries around the world.
They also looked at time zones and the affects of extreme weather on countries around the world.
