Week 7
This week, in science, the children have continued to look at forces. On Monday, they did a friction experiment testing a toy car going down a ramp covered in different textures.
On Tuesday, the children looked at air resistance and they did an experiment making parachutes to see which created the most air resistance. The children made a control parachute using a 30 x 30cm tissue paper canopy. They then had to make 3 more parachutes where they could change one variable - either the length of the string, the size of the canopy or the material of the canopy.
