This week in literary, the children started to do some research ready to write their own diary about the life of a farmer. The children looked at the features specific to diaries and looked at what a good one looks like. They started to write information about the life of a farmer and the time of the year that jobs on the farm are done.
They also started am art companion project ‘Line, light and shadows.’ The children did continuous line drawings , shading techniques and ink wash.
