This week, in literacy, the children started to look at non - chronological reports. They talked about the purpose of them, which is to inform and who their audience might be.
They looked at the features, what a good one looks like and what grammar features are included in them.
In geography, the children looked at using scale on a map, looking at scale and distance on a map, grid references, contours and symbols and trade around the world.
They used ordnance survey maps to look at the local area and grid references to locate various places.
