Summer Term 2 - Predator!
It’s time to take a walk on the wild side. Find out who’s coming to visit. Is it a bug munching lizard or an eagle-eyed bird of prey? Whatever it is, do you think you can handle it? Learn about creepy crocs and amazing alligators, the deadly assassin bug and the voracious Venus flytrap. Be inspired to write an informative leaflet all about your favourite predator and compose a poem about a predator or its prey. Then use what you know about the best of the beasts to create the ultimate predator; the apex of the food chain. Cross your dad with a peregrine falcon or your nan with a great white shark. What incredible species can you imagine? Feeling peckish? Let’s jump aboard the food chain.
Week 5
Religious Education
We had great fun working in groups to produce invitations for our Eid ul-Adha celebration. We thought about which food would be provided, what our guests might wear and even how they might decorate their hands.
Swimming
Our last swimming lesson today! After working hard to achieve our distances we all enjoyed a fun swim!

Religious Education
Islamic Celebration - Eid uh-Adha
The year 4 children have really enjoyed revisiting previous learning all about the Hajj Pilgrimage this week and it was amazing at how much they could remember!
We then read a story, Ibrahim and Isma'il from Hajj Stories.
The story was all about sacrifice and really emphasised how dedicated Ibrahim was to his God, Allah, if he was prepared to sacrifice his son because he was asked to.
We were all very pleased when Allah stopped him at the end of the story and allowed him to sacrifice a ram instead!
Week 2
Visit to Ark Wildlife Park
We had an amazing day exploring the Ark Wildlife Park this week. It was great to see the different predators close up and we really enjoyed our informative talk about them.
