This week, the children continued writing their non - chronological report on allotments, trying to include all of the necessary writing features to make it a good report.
In geography, the children looked at ordnance survey maps and how you can tell the features on the maps, such as contours.
They also looked at potato farming in Jersey and why their potatoes are different to other varieties.
In PSHE, the children heard some audio about the life of a farmer and the work that they have to do at different times of the year. They will use this in future weeks when they start to write diaries.
In art, the children did some still life drawing of fruit and flowers.
