Week 1
During our first week back, we were introduced to our new topic 'Invasion'. We answered the our big question 'What was life like in Britain after the Roman withdrawal?' and then completed a cold knowledge organiser quiz to explore whether we had any existing knowledge of our topic. This enabled us to explore some questions we had about our upcoming topic and we will discover whether these can be answered during the autumn term.
We also started our 'Contrast and Complement' Art companion project. We again, completed our cold knowledge organiser quiz and then began the project by looking at watercolours and colour theory.
In our geography companion project 'Interconnected World', we enjoyed exploring compass points and four-figure reference points. We applied our knowledge of compass points and four-figure reference points to plot different places on the grid.
