This week we have started to plan and draft our own versions of The Three Little Pigs. We have explored genre features and vocabulary to include in our own writing and ensuring we are working like authors to plan a narrative that will be of interest to the reader.
Our history project this week has involved exploring Anglo-Saxon invasion and Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. We have been able to consider questions such as 'What were the causes and consequences of the Anglo-Saxon invasion?'. We then explored a range of questions about Anglo-Saxon settle by retrieving information from the fact sheet.
In geography we have applied our knowledge of four-figure grid references to enable us to understand and identify six-figure grid references.
We have been able to evaluate in Art this week by working like art critics to review each others work. We created a gallery of our work and made sure we gave time to evaluate these carefully. We then applied our knowledge from the project and completed our Contrast and Complement hot KO quiz - we are experts!
