Week 6
This week, we started our science companion project 'Properties and Changes of Materials.'
The children started the project off by doing a knowledge organiser quiz and looking at some of the learning they will be doing in the project.
They then did a testing properties activity - where they had to put different materials into categories according to their properties.
Throughout the week, the children also conducted an insulation investigation to see if they could slow down the cooling process of hot water.
The children also looked at different techniques such as sieving, solubility and filtering.
