Science
We have been learning all about how plants grow and that they come from a bulb or a seed. Mrs Wilson brought in a lot of examples of seeds and bulbs which we looked closely at.
Science
Armed with clipboards and examples of wildflowers, we worked together to look for and identify wild plants that grown in our school environment. Of course, we still kept an eye out for garden plants, deciduous trees and evergreen trees!
Throughout the term, we will be studying a plant. Exploring how is has grown and reflecting on how it has changed. We definitely need to care for our strawberry plant by giving it water, sunlight and soil in order for it to produce some delicious red strawberries, we are so excited!
Physical Education
We are incredibly lucky this term to have JB sports providing us with a session of boxing! We loved it and look forward to the next three weeks!
Religious Education
We had a fantastic time during our memorable experience for our new topic in RE, the Sikh celebration of Naam Karan. We thought about all the different ways we need to look after babies to ensure they are healthy and cared for and discussed how important it is when a baby is introduced to the Sikh faith.
