In the Moving On project, children will explore how they have grown and changed through the year. They will celebrate their successes and reflect on what they have learned and how they have developed. The project prepares your child for the next step of their learning as they move into Year 1.

Supporting your child at home during this term:

• Look at photographs from the year and talk about how they have changed and grown.
• Encourage your child to talk about their favourite learning experiences from the year and their successes and achievements.
• Talk about change and encourage your child to explain what they are looking forward to when they move into Year 1.

Week 7

We held our very own fashion show this week for our grown ups to see our wonderful t-shirts we have been busy designing ourselves! The children really took their time to follow their design and to make it come alive onto their very own t-shirt! We also made our very own runway carpet to walk along. We had a great time! Finally, to finish our year together we had a small graduation ceremony, presenting each child with a certificate for what they are most likely to become in the future. What a wonderful year we have had together. 

Week 6

This week has been all about looking back at our wonderful memories of our time in the Reception class. We have read books such as 'One year with Kipper' and 'A story about Afiya' and created posters showing a memory from each month and also designed our own t shirts showing our favourite memories in the Reception class.
