This week, the children have been doing a companion project called 'Trailblazers, Barrier Breakers.'

This is an art based project.

The children learned about 8 significant black artists and did some research about them. They then looked at some of their most famous pieces of art and answered a series of questions about them, such as meaning, setting, colour and style. 

The children then tried to recreate the piece of art in their sketch books.
