Home Learning

We have been away from school for a long time now and it is very important that we continue to learn as much as possible. We do not expect you to be sat working every hour of the day BUT it is important that you try and keep some form of routine and learning going on.

We have now moved to resources from the Oak National Academy for our home learning. They are all online and free to use. These are very good lessons and will keep you going during this term.

All of the children - whether at home or school - will be doing their learning from this site.

Links will be on the home learning sheet and below on this page.

Please note - that you are not doing the exact weeks. The first week I would like you to do on the Oak National site is their 20th April week. Your second week is their 27th April week and so on. I hope that makes sense.

Maths

Your parents should have received an email that allows them to access the MNP teacher guides and workbooks. You will then be able to use them like we would in a normal lesson. Do the activities in the textbook and then have a go at the workbook activities.

Padlets

The links below will take you to padlets for class 3.  We really want to support parents at this challenging time and I fear that after a few days, some pupils may feel isolated once the excitement of not going to school has passed.  So, we are creating two padlets for each class - one is for pupils to add what they have been reading, the title of the books, a brief summary of the story and what they enjoyed.  The second padlet is for them to add something that has made them smile.  Once something has been written, the class teacher will need to check it before it is posted, so don't be disheartened if you can't see your post instantly.
