Valentine's Friends Messages

As a school, Valentine's Day isn't usually an occasion we mark but we felt this year was a little different. We wanted to give the children an opportunity to celebrate the special relationships they have in their lives with their friends and peers so we thought we could provide a messenger service for them to send their videos, pictures or messages to their friends on Valentine's Day!

Below, you will find some templates for colouring (also very good for calming mindfulness, even if they don't want to send it on!) and outlines for messages that the children could use to write or draw something for a friend. Maybe they want to let them know how much they're looking forward to seeing them again or what they miss about them. If they're comfortable in front of the camera, they could even record a video to send! If you send anything your child wants to share to class2GBA@infinityacademies.co.uk, we will send it on to your child's chosen recipient(s) for you, without your email address showing. We're aiming for a Sunday morning delivery service, so please have your messages to us by the end of the school day on Friday.

We thought at this lonely time, a little surprise in your inbox would be a nice way to celebrate Valentine's Day and provide a little bit of positivity for the children. We may do some of the colouring and messages in school, but if your child is in school at the moment, we ask that they create any videos they wish to share at home, as we will consider their submission consent to pass on.
