Here are some of the children fantastic answers. I was really impressed with the vocabulary the children used to describe the picture.
This week the children were given one of the images below. The children were given time to discuss their image with a friend and then write as many things as they could about the image. We then had a class discussion and talked about the vocabulary associated with measuring and length.
