We love reading 'The magician's nephew' by C. S. Lewis. Do you know what his initials stand for? If not, ask anybody in Class 1. They would love to tell you!

How to make writing more exciting like C.S. Lewis.

We made our audience know how we were feeling with just our faces, bodies and choice of music! How do you think we were feeling?

“The earth crumbled and from each hump there came out an animal.” This is a quote from "The Macian's Nephew." Class 1 are almost at the end of this book. This week we listened to the creation of Narnia! We are now learning about animals of all different species, food chains and habitats! It's very exciting.

The animals in "The Magician's Nephew" had never seen a human before. They didn't know if Uncle Andrew was an animal, a tree, alive or not alive! We learnt what all of these words mean, and quite a lot more too!

**ASLAN HAS BEEN** He used our maps and found his way out of our school. To thank us, he left a gateway to Narnia! Mr Tumnus showed some friends around our class and they made a bit of a mess.

Aslan asked us to make keys to unlock the wardrobe door. We designed and made the keys and then decorated them.

Aslan has asked us for help! Narnia has been taken over by the ice witch who has frozen the whole land. He asked us to investigate different methods of melting the ice. We added food colouring to see when cracks had appeared.

Digory and Polly are two characters from the chronicles of Narnia. We have been carrying out research about where they live - London. We found that in 1666 there was a great fire. All the children in class 1 completed a presentation about this for their homework.
